Baldwin Room
The Baldwin Room houses the Library's collections of primary source material relating to the history of Canada. It is named after Robert Baldwin, the nineteenth-century statesman and reformer, who established the constitutional principle of responsible government in pre-Confederation Canada. The collection consists of over 25,000 volumes in all subject areas, printed before 1900. In addition to books and periodicals, the collection also features manuscripts, broadsides, newspapers and ephemera.
